where do you ship to?

FOR Living currently ships across Canada and USA. Some exceptions may apply based on the size and fragility of the product.

Unfortunately, we do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Europe. FOR Living is not responsible for any damaged or defective pieces that are shipped to or through a freight forwarding company.

what are the typical product lead times?

Artwork: 4-8 weeks
Lighting: 2-8 weeks
Furniture: 3-12 weeks

After your order has been placed, you will be contacted by our Customer Service Team. At that time we will confirm your shipment + order and provide a quote for any additional shipping costs.

what is your return policy?

All made to order items are final sale. Unshipped backordered items can be canceled without issue. Please contact us within 24hrs of placing your order to request a cancellation. See here for our full return policy.

how can i expect my delivery to arrive?

Small Parcels and Decor Pieces: These items will ship from our Fulfillment Center and will be carefully placed right on your doorstep.

Smaller Furnishings: Smaller furniture pieces, including nightstands, side tables, end tables, coffee tables, poufs, ottomans, lounge chairs, table lamps, floor lamps, and other large lighting fixtures that do not include assembly will be delivered to your doorstep or driveway.

Larger Furnishings: Larger-scale furniture pieces, including sofas, cabinets, beds, dressers, and dining tables will be delivered via a delivery agent who is local to your area. For these shipments, you can expect a call to schedule a delivery date and time that works best for you, within the agent's operating hours.

If you have selected White Glove Delivery, a professional team will deliver the product. This includes full assembly, trash disposal and a scheduled delivery date + time.

Once your item has been shipped out, you will receive a tracking number.

how to prepare

For white glove deliveries, please ensure there is a clear path and proper measuring has been completed prior as we do not accept returns due to size. The majority of our furniture is fully assembled, so doorways and stairwells can pose an issue. But, careful measuring can help us all avoid these hiccups and help ensure a seamless experience!

Damages

The majority of our shipments are sent via third party delivery companies. Once we have sent your parcel, we will notify you of the shipping company and tracking information. Accents for Living is not liable for any product damages after the product has left our warehouse.

Any damage that occurs in transit that is discovered after the fact and not recorded in writing on the bill of lading will prohibit a damage claim with the according shipping company. It is the responsibility of the receiver to inspect all items before signing off on the BOL or allowing the driver to leave. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at info@for-living.ca with your order number and images of the damages.

Accents for Living will accept responsibility for defective or damaged products if determined to be a manufacturing or quality issue from our suppliers. Otherwise, it is the receiver’s responsibility to contact the shipping company to receive a credit towards the damaged product that occurred during transit.
